Maite fue invitada a la Subasta 2016 que Fundación CURA (Cirujanos Unidos Realizando Altruismo) celebró con motivo de la campaña "Una #gotaquecura forma un oceano de milagros". Más de 50 artistas plásticos intervinieron las piezas en forma de gota que se subastaron en el Museo Soumaya. Los fondos recaudados se utilizarán para realizar cirugías en comunidades marginadas.

Maite was invited to attend the 2016 Auction of CURA (United Surgeons Practicing Altruism) Foundation celebrated for the campaign "A drop that cures, forms an ocean of miracles". Over 50 plastic artists worked the drop shaped pieces which were sold at auction at the Soumaya Museum. The raised money will help bring surgery to poor communities.

Maite comes back on stage, this time in Mexico, with the play Cuando Todos Pensaban Que Habíamos Desaparecido, a co-production of Vaca 35 Teatro en Grupo, FiraTàrrega, Naulavanow, Iberescena and Fonca. Director Damián Cervantes, won the best director award at the MESS Festival (Sarajevo, Bosnia i Herzegovina). The play will open in Mexico for the first time after its Spanish tour, in the International section of FITU (International University Theater Festival) held by UNAM at the Santa Catarina Theater.
